Abstract: The article examines some features of the real estate market in terms of its specifics as an object of study. The necessity and possibility to study the real estate market with the means of the new institutionalism and the evolutionary economics are discussed. Some possibilities for ideological limitations in the analysis of the real estate market are considered. The author proposes a general research scheme that takes into account possible ideological limitations.
