Abstract: The problems for conservation, socialization and exploitation of the real estate cultural heritage in conditions of dynamic development of cities become more up to date in recent years.
This paper is focused on strategic guidelines for using the potential of the estates with cultural value on the Sofia municipal territory as a key resource for sustainable urban development.
Based on the results from the conducted research, specific recommendations for improving the systems for planning and programming of the management activities of real estate cultural heritage on the Sofia municipal territory are made.
